Review by hotel critic
The hidden gem we stumbled upon for our weekend getaway was an absolute delight. the location of the hotel was perfect - nestled amidst picturesque surroundings yet conveniently close to Bakewell and Ashford. the views from the hotel were breathtaking and truly added to the charm of our stay. the house itself had a cozy and homely feel, making us feel at ease from the moment we stepped in. the closed off kitchen and utility room were a lifesaver for us as we were traveling with our beloved dogs. the sitting area was comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the area. the hotel also provided amenities such as a washing machine and dryer, which was extremely convenient for us. the fact that pets were allowed on site was a huge plus for us, as our furry friends are an essential part of our family. Our stay at this hotel was exceptional and we were sad to leave. We highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat in the heart of the countryside.
